Happy Birthday to the man who shook the world. There are enough arguments about this but I am a firm believer that rock wasn’t saying anything important until Bob came along. Popular music had a rhythm and it had sexuality but it didn’t have it a voice until songs like Blowin’ In The Wind and The Times They Are A Changin’. Bob Dylan gave it a voice. I can’t express how much his music means to me. Sometimes it’s my only comfort. It’s an inspiration to me personally and to my art, and I am forever grateful for that. Happy Birthday and may your song always be sung.
